Holly Garner's chocolate studio at Poulshot Lodge Farm in Devizes runs a rolling calendar of dated experiences that span making, decorating, and tasting across nine sessions. The Chocolate Tempering Masterclass is the most technically ambitious of the lot - three hours covering all four methods of tempering, mould casting, ganache-making, and truffle decorating, with everything you make going home with you alongside the recipes. At the other end of the scale, the Make Your Own Advent Calendar Experience has you painting, decorating, and filling 24 handmade chocolate domes while working through a flight of single-origin hot chocolates. Most sessions open with what Hollychocs calls the Ultimate Hot Chocolate and a guided tasting that starts with a raw cocoa bean, a sequence that runs through the Rocher Experience, the Caramel Masterclass, and the festive offerings. Family sessions accommodate children from age five, while the Tempering Masterclass and Rocher Experience welcome ages fourteen and up. Prices start from £60, with the Tempering Masterclass at £95.
