Cocoa Jones Chocolate

Cocoa Jones Chocolate runs hands-on workshops from its Chocolate Factory in Purley, with two sessions pitched at different ages and appetites. The Bar Making & Packaging Workshop (£15, one hour, open to ages five and up, up to twelve people) walks participants through assembling a chocolate bar, choosing add-ins, and wrapping it in a design of their own - leaving with at least 100g of their creation. The Tempering, Tasting and Truffles Workshop (£45, two hours, minimum age twelve, maximum six people) goes deeper: it covers the craft of tempering chocolate to achieve a smooth, shiny finish and a clean snap, pairs that with a guided tasting of different chocolate varieties to explore how origin affects flavour, and ends with participants rolling their own truffles to take home in a gift bag.
